Building Bern Architecture since 1990 Building Bern is geo-referenced and leads to 129 good projects built in Bern since 1990. Each building project is presented on a photo together with a short description and up to six plans as well as a list of the people involved in the projects and construction data. All (screen) tours start from the dashboard which shows all functions at a glance. Building Bern offers four classifications: Buildings in the architectural guide are grouped according to the type of construction, architects, districts, or in alphabetical order. Locate me shows buildings in close proximity. Using the favourites function a list of favourite projects can be saved. The search function helps to find architects or buildings by entering cues. All descriptions, photos and plans (except maps) are saved offline on the iPhone or iPad. Building Bern presents: - 88 buildings since 1990 with photo, description and plans - 41 buildings since 1900 with photo and description - Four classifications (type of building, district, architects, objects) - Favourites function - Locate me to show interesting buildings in close proximity - Text search function - Two languages (Englisch/German) - Free update Building Bern is a joint project of Hochparterre, Vereinigung f r Bern (Bern Association) and the Bern City Development Department, supported by the following companies: Emch (elevator construction), Herzog (building contractors) and Zumtobel (lamps and lights).
